Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai: release, cast and OTT

Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai (ஏழு கடல் ஏழு மலை) is listed as a 1 October 2026 theatrical release. BookMyShow names Nivin Pauly, Soori and Anjali in the cast. This answers the opening-date search; current showtimes still depend on your city. BookMyShow.

What kind of film is it?

The ticket listing describes a train encounter involving an ordinary traveller and an immortal. That premise places it in drama and fantasy territory. We stop at the premise here, so a release-date search does not expose the ending or explain away the central mystery. Official ticket synopsis.

There are several common ways to type the English title. Search results may shorten it to YKYM or use “Ezhu” instead of “Yezhu”. Pairing the title with Ram or Nivin Pauly is a practical way to identify the film without relying on a spelling alone.

Cast and production credits

Ram is listed as director and writer. Suresh Kamatchi is the producer, and Yuvan Shankar Raja supplies the music. BookMyShow also credits N. K. Ekhambram for cinematography and Mathi V. S. for editing. Cast and crew listing.

Has an OTT date been announced?

A platform and streaming day were not verified in the sources collected for this page. We therefore do not estimate a digital release from the cinema date. Festival screenings, theatrical openings and streaming premieres are separate events, and each needs its own evidence.

If you want Tamil audio with English subtitles, inspect the actual cinema or platform listing. A Tamil-language film does not automatically mean that every show has English subtitles. Ask the venue through its published booking information when that detail affects your choice.

Before booking

Read the language, date and city on the checkout screen. A national release announcement is useful context, but the final ticket is for a particular show. For other October titles, see the release calendar. It keeps uncertain dates visibly separate from dates supported by an announcement or ticket listing.
